- Stage-1 = Newborn Stroller – a perfectly flat newborn position
- Stage-2 = Toddler Stroller – upright for the toddler
- Stage-3 = Baby Stroller + Toddler Stroller – add a doubles kit for the toddler, and use
the flat position for your newborn
- Stage-4 = 2-Toddlers – use the doubles kit on the rear to make room for two toddlers

- Can a travel system be used when the buggy is set up for two children?
No, the buggy must be set up in a single newborn position.
- What are the maximum weight limits in the various positions?
Single buggy (Toddler or Newborn) 55 lbs
Double (Toddler-Newborn) 55 lbs in the front seat (toddler), no maximum weight limit on
newborn position (designed for up to a 6 month old)
Double (Toddler-Toddler) 55 lbs in the front seat, 33 lbs in the rear seat.
- Where can I purchase spare tubes or tires for my buggy?
These are generic sized parts (12.5”) and are available through any good bike store.
- How do I know which model New Sport Buggy I have purchased?
Version 1: Has an “Explorer” label sewn on the buggy seat.
Version 2: Has an “E3” logo embroidered on the buggy seat.
Sport Buggy: Has a “Sport” logo embroidered on the buggy seat.
- I have a problem with my buggy how do I get it resolved?
Your first step is to contact your original place of purchase. The retailer has a great
knowledge of our products and will be able to arrange a repair/replacement part where
necessary.
- If the product fails in the first year of ownership due to a manufacturing fault we
will repair it free of charge. If it is not practical to repair it we will replace it.
If the product fails due to wear and tear, accident or negligence, or if it is outside the
warranty period, we will happily repair it for a reasonable charge.
- Please note as outlined in your instruction booklet the customer is responsible for
freight charges if the product is required to be sent to our repair agent.
- Is the Sport Buggy suitable for a newborn?
Yes it is. The newborn bed lies completely flat, which is the recommended position for an
infant.
- Can I attach my car seat to the Sport Buggy?
Yes, with the use of our Travel System. This system is quite universal so it will fit most
makes/models of capsule, including Britax®, Graco® and Evenflo®.
- Can I run with your buggy?
Occasionally yes, however the Sport Buggy has not been designed as a full-time jogger.
- How do I clean my buggy?
Fabric
The fabric is backed with a waterproof coating. Brush off dirt. More intense cleaning can
be done by hand, in warm water, using a mild natural soap. Rinse out soap. Do not use
detergents or bleach. Air dry. The fabric is fade resistant, but not fade proof; exposure
to direct sunlight can fade the fabric.
Frame care and cleaning
We recommend that dirt is brushed off the frame and wheels regularly. Clean with a
non-abrasive household cleaner and soft cloth. Wash sand and salt from you Phil and Teds
Buggy after beach activity. Always dry frame after becoming wet. Paint chips can be
repaired with a touch up kit.
- How much do I inflate my tires?
They are a universal tire, but when being used on a buggy 22psi is the most effective
pressure level.

Doubles Kit Component Accessory Option:
This is what really makes Phil & Ted's unique. If you'll be using this stroller for 2, you'll need this. It has 2 functions:
- Add a smaller child behind the seat. Second seat capacity is 33 lbs. in this position.
- Slides in where the traditional seat sits, while reclining the original seat flat to accommodate and infant.
- The Second seat can support up to 55 lbs. when installed up front.
- This is for the Sport models and later.

The Phil & Ted's Classic Single Stroller Buggy and The Phil &
Ted's Classic Double Inline Stroller Buggy are the least expensive and made by Phil & Ted's and offers the basic functionality of the more expensive inline strollers. The Phil & Ted’s Classic Buggy three-position seat allows the child to sit upright, recline or lie completely flat. The Classic has a double rear foot brake for safety and a two-height adjustable handle for the comfort of the parent. The Classic is also equipped with a solid sun canopy for full coverage and a fabric foot well. The Phil & Ted’s Classic Buggy folds manually and is available only in red.
